As of January 5,2017
We just about always have room for you! Remember to book as early as you can for best dates and rates!
Wanna catch a whopper? You can with us!
As you can tell from some of the latest photo's, catching in 2013 has been pretty dang good! This Smallmouth just above weighed a solid 8+lbs! We saw quite a few fish that ended up being wall hangers! What a great time we have been experiencing!
We are Idaho's Premier Float Boat Fishing charter service! We chase some the largest Steelhead North America has to offer! We are located in North-Central Idaho in the little town of Orofino.
We are a full service outfitter specializing in day trips for some of the largest Steelhead and salmon in the lower 48!
As a reminder: At this time we do not have the ability for card transactions.
Man has old man winter made a showing or what? Been a long time since we have had snow on the ground here for this long. Had to shovel off my roof New Years Day. I had 21" up there. Now it going to get really cold.... Who pissed off old man winter?
If I told how good catching has been, you would call me a liar.... But I am going to tell you anyway. It is ridiculous!!!! In the last 9 trips on the water, we have had at least one double a day! A typical day has been 8 to ? in the net! I can't remember the last time catching was this good. Might have been back in 02. Almost everything we are catching has been a keeper. Before Christmas, we were landing 60% keepers - 40% throwbacks. All of a sudden after Christmas, we are landing 90% keepers to 10% throwbacks. Last Saturday we had Darren Jerome and his 2 boys from Coeur D' Alene, Idaho. They landed 13! We had a triple, landed all 3 in the net at the same time, had to throw 1 back, went back out and had a double immediately. Bonked both of them. We found this spot that you couldn't go 10ft without having rods bent over! Experienced the same thing with Doug and Karen Lamm from Ontario, Ore. Had almost the same thing with Brad Corkill and his daughter and son-in-law from up north. If you can get here, you will more then happy you came catching! Can't believe the amount of Steelhead we have this year! Have a feeling that when this snow starts to melt, we might see some higher river flows then we want to see. In the last 10 days or so, our mountains have seen huge snow fall. Went to Wyoming for the xmas holiday. On the way over we stopped at Lolo pass, saw about 3' of snow on the ground. On the way back we stopped again and saw close to 7 ft on the ground. we are having a winter for a change! Just in time for Global Warming...
We have quite a bit of openings for January and February. In March we will be fishing til about the 15th. That is generally the time the river gets too big. In Feb some of the weekends are filling up. Don't wait too long to get your date! Currently it is just Alan and myself guiding this next few months.
Currently we have room!
